Our good friend Jean Elle of NBC did a nice piece on Castro Community On Patrol last night as they conducted a new patrol volunteer training class.
CCOP does some great things for the community, but they’re ALWAYS short on committed volunteers who understand the value in patrolling regularly (they only ask for one 2.5 hour patrol a month from volunteers.)
The next CCOP training will take place on Saturday September 06, 2014 1pm-4:30pm All training occurs within the Castro. If you can give up 2.5 hours a month to volunteer for CCOP, you could help make a world of difference to the Castro!!
